I’ve got an older H&s hydra-swing merger that needs constant flow from the tractor hydraulics to run. I’m thinking of converting it to a pto driven hydraulic pump. Has anyone done anything similar?

Back in the mid 90's I converted a Vermeer R23 basket rake to operate off a pto hyd pump so I could operate the rake with a Ford 3000 tractor I owned. I boxed in the rake tongue to use as a hyd oil reservoir. I used it several yrs until the tooth pipe brgs began failing too regularly to suit me then I traded it for a wheel rake.

Have 3/4 factor new PTO hydraulic pumps here that jus slide up on the shaft, actually have a couple that have a large pump then a smaller pump behind no telling what they cost new but would be a bargain if a man needs one, if your are building your set up and need the pump pm me
