head bolts

hi everyone, looking for new head bolts for a 1650 oliver diesel with a waukesha engine. these are 9/16 bolts. didn't even see used ones. the ones i have are at least three or four times torqued. any opinions?

Contact ARP, I used head studs from ARP on our 77 and on our 1850 diesel we used ARP bolts

I use arp bolts they will know what size they need to be if they don't give them the specs

They should be relatively easy to find then course thread phosphate and oil coated. Caterpillar would be one source

Sounds like IH with those old odd sized bolts in 1/16th sizes. Seems like it would just made sense to have used 5/8 and been done with it. Like an H is\t has 7/16 , 1/2 would have been better and more common to get or use and just more practical to me. I rarely use a bolt of the 1/16 size for anything.

I just finished putting a 310 together using 9/16 ARP head studs. The issue you will have is the bolt with the oiling hole that feeds the rocker shaft. I plumbed a line from the oil gallery thru the end of the head. You can see pics I posted on the Oliver section if you decide to go that route?
