Heider Grain Cart

I recently bought a Heider model R grain cart and it needs a bearing replaced on the belly auger shaft, its at the end of the shaft right behind the tractor. If I'm not mistaken the bearing flange bolts to the front wall of the grain cart. I am trying to find out what bearing it takes so I can get one and replace it.

Also does anyone have any manuals for the model R??

Are you good with an oxy/acetylene torch? Or do you have one? You'll have to remove the PTO shaft anyhow. It's probably got a bolt through it? It might come right off, and it might not! Then you can measure the shaft. Probably one inch. Maybe 1.25". Common ball bearing, I'm sure.

If you are going to replace the bearing you need to get it off and when you get the old one off you will likely be able to see the number on it.

RA100 comes to mind. We've got 2 of these wagons for putting
beans in side bins in the driveway in the corn crib.
Biggest problem with the bearing is getting it off the shaft. Close
quarters even with the PTO shaft off.

Worst case is having to pull the elbow & bottom auger out the back.
We've been there & done that so it's doable, but takes time.
Much simpler if the bearing comes off.

Thinking----there is a 2 piece hub with 2 5/16" shear bolts
ahead of the bearing that comes off first. The bearing is
just a standard 3 bolt flange bearing. Could be RA100
NPPB or similar.
