I picked up an older Ford tractor and need help identifying exactly what I have. I found numbers of
9D26B
C235345
Any help would be appreciated.

They had ROPS back then or do you think the PO had it installed. looking at the size of the tires and the size of the rear wheel weights, and the fact that the 4000 was here then too, why wouldn't it be a 4000. That's a lot of weight for some serious plowing and the 4000 could do that.
 
ROPS was a optional then, I have on for a 4000
The 4000SU was looked very much like a 3000 but still used the 4000’s engine, transmission, rear axle and hydraulics, the tractor in the photo has 3000 hydraulic piping for a engine mounted hydraulic pump
The only 4000’s with that system were trans pto or has sos transmission, trans pto on a 4000 ag model was rare
Those wheel weights fit 28, 30 and 34” power adjust rims
