Hercules 298 stuck

I have a Hercules GO298 that I am trying to get unseized. So far I have filled the cylinders full with 50/50 diesel and Marvel Mystery. They have been soaking for a little over a month now. I have been trying to pry on it and it wont budge. Anyone have any advice?

I would like to know what is in the cylinders. There is a point at which the best of specialty liquids will not loosen an engine. If it had water in the cylinders for a long or unknown time, I do not think it is going to budge. Pull the head off to get a realistic view of the issue. The worst problem is then just a few gaskets. A very stuck engine can have major damage caused by rotating it with stuck valves, and rusted to the cylinder rings. Though if you know it was stuck for only a few months, then the story might be in favor of more time. JimN

Pull the head and pan and pour ATF into the cylinders and let them soak. Loosen the rod caps and main bearing caps. Use a piece of 2X2 oak and a hammer and tap on one of the rod's after removing the cap. Don't get too wild with the hammer. If this doesn't work take the block outside away from any building a set one cylinder on fire then tap on the rod. Remove any flammable
items. You need that heat to free them. Be patient too. Hal
