This afternoon's project was replacing the starter solenoid on this 'ol Bad Boy. Cummins V6, fired right up and runs like a top!

We used to fuel one of their big models. Thing would drink 120 gallons a day.

I used one like that for a couple days once. I couldn't get used to how it steered compared to Cats and Komatsus that I was more familiar with.

Dad worked for a company rebuilding cylinder heads that remaned IH mining equipment.

I thought it was funny that everything was Pay. Pay loader, pay hauler, pay scrapper, pay grader etc etc.

Nothing like being 10 and getting to ride with a guy testing a fresh completely rebuilt TD25 out on the test ground.
