Hydraulic/Transmission Oil Leak

Hello everyone I am looking for input on my oil leak problem. My 226D developed a oil leak sometime ago where the center plate and the clutch housing join together it would spray oil onto my foot in 2nd and third gear. I limped the unit thru the Alaska construction season as I have a major project going on the tractor shifted just fine and propelled forward and reverse as normal but leaked like crazy. I have now disassembled tractor and have it separated at the center plate/clutch housing joint. After looking at the center plate oil gallies for the Powershift Trans there's a gallie in the exact position where the oil spray was coming from. My question is could it be as simple to fix the issue with only a gasket replacement? If anyone has and knowledge or experience with this type of situation I would sure appreciate any and all input. Thank you

I have followed numerous Yanmar forums for years and I believe yours is the first time I have read of your particular leak. I have not been there, done that. This is the gasket that should go at that position. I would not think there are oil passageways on this gasket. <LINK_TEXT text="https://fredrickse...com/product/trans-gasket-tg-2417/</LINK_TEXT>

On the other hand, the gasket between the center plate and transmission housing has numerous oil passageways and I could certainly see a gasket failure at that point. <LINK_TEXT text="https://fredrickse...com/product/trans-gasket-tg-2418/</LINK_TEXT>
