Injector pump problem

MF65 high crop with the Perlins Diesel engine. Trying to start it after setting since last year and have fuel to the pump and coming out both bleeders on the pump but nothing at the injectors when I crack open the nuts. I'm suspecting stuck parts inside the pump like has happened to others. Someone suggested pouring boiling hot water over the pump to free it up. Has anyone heard of diong this with results. I'm 80 and don't feel like messing with taking the pump off and sending it out. I have invested a lot of money in this and made it a nice tractor with a complete engine rebuild including a new crankshaft, hydraulic pump, starter, alterntor, and clutch.. It has the spin out rims and good tires all around.. It also has a MF41 7 foot sickle bar mower on it. I was planning to sell it if I got it going.

If the engine is running OR cranking, hitting the pump with COLD water is a good way to seize it. I doubt the hot water will do any good if the rotor plungers are stuck like a lot of pumps I see in for repair.
