Hello everyone,

I am new here, and I sure hope someone can help. I have '82, 4440 that the blower intermittently goes off. I have taken off the cover on the right side behind the steering wheel , and there is a wiring harness there. When i wiggle that harness it comes back on. But i am not sure what wire it would be that runs the blower motor. I know they all run into a bank right before the fire wall. Does anyone know the number bank that coincides with the blower motor? Or any help would be appreciated.
thanks
Nate

everything seemed tight, this harness directly =behind steering wheel seems to be where the short is. any other thougts? could it be tied to key switch

Yes, they had problems keeping the harness on the keyswitch, I would run a ziptie over the connector end and the front of the switch to keep it attached. Not the best scenario but it worked. Don't be surprised if you need to get a new switch and the connector housing if they got hot.
