1957 JD 620 gas
I've got fuel that spits out under cap.
1. NEW OEM cap (non-vented) put on today.
2. Blew air in to breather tube, can hear it in the tank.
Questions: 1. Any suggestions? 2. The filler-neck top (outer-edge) is slightly bent (over time) down, so the cap-gasket reflects about a 1/32" compression ring. Shouldn't this filler ring surface be FLAT (about 1/8+)? If so, that could be why the gas intermittently spits out there.
THANKS!
Bill
