I have found a old parts book. I need the U-Joint for the drive shaft the old part number is AJ 7329 H. Not able to locate that number on the net even to cross it over. Anyone know where I could locate a U-Joint for this.

I take the old spider cross and 2 cups to the farm supply store (Runnings is the one here) and usually it matches up to one on their shelf.

If not the auto store that is good at selling bearings and hoses and hyd fittings will have or can order it from the measurements of the old one, the counter guy or gal is good at measuring and finding the right one.

I’m sure the Sponsor of this web site also has a selection in their store.p you can mail order.

the only caution is in the smaller size, there was an old standard size that isn’t so common any more. It is only a few fractions of an inch (1/32 inch I believe?) smaller than the more common size used now. Both are still easy to find, but in a Quick Look it is very easy to get the wrong one. The bigger sizes are all pretty easy to tell the difference. When working on old equipment you don’t have to worry about metric sizes, which make it a little more fun to choose the right size…..

I really didn’t follow up, but - it looks like cross references are out there?

If you have a "Mechanics" driveline that used the DEERE #AJ7329 cross kit, it's been replaced by DEERE # AE10091 (looks to be still available), substitutes include:
If you have the alternative "Rockwell-Standard" driveline, the cross kit part DEERE part # is AM2871E. Substitutes include: GMB 2102011, and Neapco 1-275.

Thanks Guys I appreciate all the help. Never thought to remove spaces. I did not have any luck with looking it up. I spend a lot of time looking kept getting everything but U-Joints. Thanks for the help.
