John Deer 2140 clutch problems

Hi all.

New to this group today.

I have a JD 2140 with clutch problems. Both master and slave cylinders have been replaced but the leaver that the salve goes into is pushed back. It still drives if you select what gear before selecting low gear. Anyone else encountered the same issue and have any ideas to try before gearbox needs to come out?

Thanks

I've read that that clutch operating cylinders needs to be be bleed beginning at the bottom & bleeding upward. That system is very difficult to get the air out of the system.
Thanks Jim.

I have read a lot about this. Currently awaiting delivery of an oil can with fittings to bleed from the slave to master. Fingers crossed this works
