John Deere 5045e

Turn the key to start the tractor 3 or 4 times it sounds like low battery, clicks and barely turns over, after 4th try, turns over as it should and starts, been doing this for over a year. Any ideas what the problem with this tractor is?

Turn the key to start the tractor 3 or 4 times it sounds like low battery, clicks and barely turns over, after 4th try, turns over as it should and starts, been doing this for over a year. Any ideas what the problem with this tractor is?

Check the battery with a load tester, check and clean as needed ALL battery cable connections, including where the negative cable attaches to the chassis.

I'm looking at the Deere 5050e and the loader to tractor hydraulic connections are set really low to the ground under the right foot of the operators station. If the 5045e has those lines in the same location, have you had problems with damage from limbs, vegetation etc. agree with wore out. Thanks
