I'm just wondering how your belt setup was I am currently trying to do the same on a 40 JD A but it keeps slipping the belt think I may order double v-groove pulleys and run 2 belts trying to us it to fold a v-rake but I also just picked up a AR governor case and live hydro pump but do not have the time to put the governor together and on

What size pully are you running on the pump. I had to run a 3 inch on the pump anything smaller the belt would slip.

I tried a 3.5 then I tried a 5 the 5 would almost do it but would still slip I ordered double groove pulleys for it and hopefully that will cure it
