John Deere A Radiator

My 1948 John Deere A has a radiator leak. Is stop leak a good idea or do I need to pull it and do it right? Is there a reputable salvage yard in the Midwest that would have a good one for sale? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Not knowing the size of the leaking. Suggest getting on the phone with YT salvage ,have them do the leg work for you.
I’d suggest some KW fleet sealer , but if it’s got 30.06 hole in it then replace it .

You have answered your own question. I’d choose a new core reuse your tanks unless there’s a problem with them

In my experience its false economics to try and use a used radiator, a new core and struggling with the little bolts is the way to go.
