jubilee problem

i just discovered a transmission looking plug under my tractor seat, the large type like is by my gear shift. WHat is it for/do? i thought i was changing my trans oil buy using the fill plug by the gear shift. is that new plug location also need maintainance?

Is Number 7010 in this picture the plug you are asking about?
That is the Fill plug for the Rear Axle. The Level plug would be on the left side down by the 3-Point Arms attach to the tractor

This is just a guess, but I'm thinking you don't yet know that the tranny fluid, hydraulics, and rear end fluid are different things. For a Jubilee, you could use the same type of UTF in ball and get along just fine. But they are different housings and fluids that are checked & changed separately.
