i have a jubilee and it starts easily but when you let the clutch out not in gear it dies when its cold is that normal and when you rev it up it cuts out under a load it seems to cut out also any help is greatly apreciated

Try opening the main jet a little, maybe 1/4 turn at a time. If this does NOT help, likely you have a gas flow restriction, such as a scrren in need of cleaning, or, worst case, a carb that needs OH'ing.

Under cold conditions after start up, the oil in the transmission and hydraulics is cold and it puts a big load on the engine when you let the cluth out in neutral. Advancing the throttle or adding a little bit of choke can help that.

Cutting out when advancing to higher rpm under cold conditions can be caused by too lean a mixture for the cold conditions or a weak spark or both. It can also becaused by stuck advance mechanism. Weak spark can be caused by improperly set points, worn distributor bushing/shaft, burned or corroded points, bad kew switch, weak coil or improperly hooked up coil, bad connections, weak battery, etc.
There maybe some fuel flow restriction to the carb.

As the others have said. I know on my 841 in the winter I need to open up the main jet just a tad for it to run as well as it does in the summer and then in the summer I have to close it back down. Cold weather means it needs more gas to run as well because cold gas does funny things
