Lawn Tractor Restorer

[Texgasser1]

Who restores older lawn tractors?

I have a simplicity 725 with tiller and blade. Engine is fine but tranny does leak.

I would like it torn down fixed up and repainted.

Closer to Texas the better but will travel.

There used to be a man that rebuilt Simplicity lawn tractors then sold them about 5 miles from me. He always had several on a flatbed gooseneck trailer in his front yard. I think he bought, rebuilt, during winter months. He sold them all summer or until all were sold. I suspect he retired from that because he hasn't had that trailer in his yard for perhaps 8 yrs now. Point is, begin asking around your area for such people.
