Level Box Assembly Repair

My level box assembly came apart. The threaded rod will no longer thread into the sleeve. The rod itself is fine.

I'm right and that rod should thread into the lower sleeve connected to the lift arm, correct?

I assume I have to replace the lower part or entire arm? I think they sell just the female piece I need?

You need to determine which part lost threads, we can't see the parts to tell. It might need both. If the threads on the rod are still good, the lower socket/sleeve may be all it needs.

Your reply couldn't genuinely be serious. You may, but you may, but you may. I made a post saying - the female piece is bad. That's the baseline.

don't be rude to Jim.Me he is one of those that is helpful.. you stripped the female bottom part ok it happens mine was utterly ruined too, wether you replace it depends on if you use it or not. if not drill a hole through both the bottom end and rod and bolt through both when its level that's solves the issue for good no more stripped box ever but you get no leveling box, but if you're gonna replace it and have the leveling box work then do it,

I've learned from experience attitude, yes (sarcastic rude remarks included) is the fastest way to make sure you NEVER receive the help you need on this site. determine what you need is exactly as it sounds, do you just need the bottom link, have you verified the bolt holding the lower arm to the hitch arm is good?, have you verified the box gears aren't stripped, do you have a grease nipple for the new lower arm, do you have grease to grease the arm, has the rod been re threaded with a die and has different threads? shall I continue giving potential things you may need.....?

Its ok, he is right. I did not properly answer what he asked. I should have just said you can purchase the lower sleeve as that was his real question. Because I got bit once in thinking a new sleeve would fix one and it turned out the rod was not as good as it looked, I have a sleeve on the shelf, thus I answered as I did.

I will say he has since found he can buy the separate parts, which he could have researched and found out, prior to asking. I hope the sleeve works for him.
