Lifting head, 256 turbo diesel?

All head bolts out, intake, exhaust/turbo off, bracket on back of head for hydraulic lines off, fuel filter off.

Am I missing something? On the driver rear of the head, there was a notch area of the head above a tab on the block, tried prying up there and part of the tab broke off so I stopped.

Is there a trick??

I will add, someone added stopleak or something to the coolant, as a gooey greasy substance oozed out - no water in oil though.
