Manifold Repaint Opinions Needed

I coated my MF65 intake with VHT Flameproof 1500 degree Cast finish header paint. I am now in the process of sanding and priming the rest of the tractor. The manifold will have to come off to allow proper painting of the area behind, but should the manifold be topcoated? Any pro's or con's to topcoating it? Thanks in Advance, Aaron

Clearcoat, header paint, they will all discolor and burn off eventually. The only thing that really works is to take manifold, exhaust pipe and muffler and have it all powder coated with the 3000 degree stuff. You will have to check around to find a shop in your area. CalJim

Thanks, if I am going to have to recoat it anyhow, I may as well leave it the way it is.
