Early 398 with concentric brakes.
LH slave cylinder was leaking, removed, honed, new Massey seals, re-installed.
Acts like it has air in the line. When it sits for a couple minutes, the pedal will go
down about an inch farther than the following pumps. RH pedal does not do this.
Tried gravity bleeding, then bled per the procedure I have in a shop manual...piece of
clear hose on the bleeder valve pointed up, rapidly pump the pedal, refill the reservoir
and repeat until no bubbles in the clear tube. Really had no bubbles after the gravity
bleed.
Did not adjust the actuator rod, just put the nut on the end same number of threads as
when it was removed.
Master cylinder? Adjust actuators? Any other thoughts?
Thanks
