Mixing Calcium chloride

what is the water to calcium flake ratio for mixing this stuff? And how much would it take to fill a 23x1050x12 tire. I cant find wheel weights for my riding lawnmower so im going this route.
Also im no math expert and im sitting here trying to figure out what is cheaper. A 88lb bag of calcium flakes costs about $30, a gallon of windshield washer fluid costs $2 and a gallon of straight antifreeze costs $10. Which is the cheapest and/or easiest way to go? Thanx in advance Steve

For riding mower tires just mix up some safe RV type of anti freeze/water mix. Eco friendly and won't rot your rims so bad.

I used the antifreeze type of winshield washer fluid in my riding mower tires.
I got my WW fluid on sale for .89/gal though.

Yep wiper fluid or anti freeze is better for what you want then the CACL. I did that years ago on a riding mower because I was cutting grass on hills and it made a very big difference

4# ca cl per gallon water will give you a 30 below freeze mix. fill the barrel of water 1st then add the ca cl. I have 26 12 12 on 2 of my cadets and I guess they take maybe 10 gallons per tire. Makes a bunch of difference in traction
Got couple hundred gallons on the big truck already mixed up. Bring your tires by and I'll load em for 15 bucks a tire.

Window washing solution about $1.50 per gal, tool from Gemplers about $25. and a pump that goes onto a drill, saves lots of $$$.

I added 7 1/2 gal of eco frendliy anti-freeze to my rider and it works great.
