Model A tractor

My uncle recently purchased a Model A tractor conversion. If anyone has any photos/information regarding this item, we would greatly appreciate it.

pick up a book on the history of the ford tractor, they have a whole section in there on the model t and model a tractor conversion kits. if you cant find the book, drop me an e-mail, i will see if i can dig my copy out and get you the author name ect.i think i got the book at barnes and noble.

I grew up in the fruit country north of Sacramento, Ca and there were lots of old Model As. Ts, and other trucks made into tractors for the orchards. they worked well being low and cheap and used to haul trailers of fruit out of the orchard.
some people called them doodlebugs.

I have seen 3 of these and was told that you could purchase a kit from Sears and Roebuck for this conversion. Used two transmissions in series. Lots of gear choices.
