MX240 leaking hydraulics

last year I recognized that remote 3 was not holding pressure. Then it happened to 2 in the fall. So i was doing some testing, when I plug in and run remotes 1 and 4 hydraulic oil comes pouring out of 2 and 3. Does this mean that the cartridges need replacing, or could it just be a simple gasket or O-ring? Planning to tear into it soon.
