Weather in the Willamette valley, Oregon changed like a light switch this year.
A long, dry warm late summer and fall and then WHAM!!!
Rain, chilly, wet and drippy!
Finally, a day with no rain; it's time to mow the corn.
So, I hopped on the trusty 2N at about 37degF and hit the start.
It popped and died.
I tried again but knew I over choked.
After 35 years on this tractor; shouldn't I know how to start it??!!!
It always pops right off.
Hmmm,,,should I switch to 12 volts?
Should I go to fuel injection?
How about a turbo? Will it start then?
Naw. gave it a few minutes and tried again. Didn't even hear the starter and it was running.
The only thing modified was my not so important schedule!
