New Hollande 640

I have a 94’ new holland 640 has been a great baler its whole life with around 15k bales on it. Never has any issues and always meticulously maintained. I baled 55 bales this year and the shear pin broke with no clogs, no visible reason.the baler runs all day with no trouble empty and will break at about a 1/4 bale every time. After trouble shooting hot bearings etc. decided to rebuild sledge assembly due to rough/hot bearings in the top rollers and the idlers gears. Tried the baler again did the same thing as before, after more trouble shooting found a warm bearing on the starter roll so tore down and replace both bearings there, took it out to bale same thing. Trouble shot again found the the top roller behind the belts had a bad bearing so repaired that went to bale and did the same thing all bearings have been checked with a temp gun everything runs smooth there is no noticeable reason for the pin to break. Could the sledge clutch be the issue bolts are tightened pretty much all the way up when I checked them. Don’t mind to buy the part but hate to spend the money with out a for sure diagnosis. Any help would be greatly appreciated I’ve done all I can think of and have only got 55 bales out of 700 done

You're talking right side of the baler, where's the triangle shape pieces have the convex plates on there?
I have changed them on our 688.

That’s what I’m talking about the bailer used to grind or make a noise before the pin broke if you were having an issues kind like you’d hear the clutch slipping now it just breaks no warning nothing. But you can put a tape measure on the bales and there not an inch of difference when they break
