New to me saw- Stihl ms500i

Picked this up yesterday on an online only auction. My go-to saw for about 10 cord a year until now was a Stihl MS360pro. Before that was a ms311. Now I get to see if the fuel injected ms500i will up my productivity…

From what I hear from the local dealer it cuts fast. It is what they tell me the land clearing guys use to clear cut some places when they clear off a spot in the field so they can get that last acre.

The loggers and tree guys online seem to like the 500i. Even the irrational fanatic "Husqvar or no car" diehards are impressed for the most part.

There is a weight/balance factor of any saw that wears on the user and makes one feel back and leg aches. I have found the bigger the saw, the more I ache.
