Oliver red paint

Recently bought a heavy duty series Oliver plow I’m looking to restore and I was wondering if anyone knew what paint it would have been. I know it was red with green wheels but I can’t seem to find what anyone is using for Oliver red these days. Thanks

Years ago we painted our 88. Used a color called hot pepper. Can’t remember if it was rust oleum or maybe krylon. Looked close enough for us.

The Case IH red is what I used. Somewhere I read that was the accepted red.

I have been using Oliver Red.
Available at ASAP.
Might be a Tallmans or VanSickle product label.

The Oliver dealer had IH red paint in stock when I painted a few Fleetline Oliver tractors.

The Martin Senour paint code for Oliver red was/is (I don't know if still current) 99L-3752 or Dupont B8590.

From what I can see in that photo, you’d think they were the same. But they aren’t.

Just a suggestion: if there is something that you can take off of the plow that is painted, maybe where it attaches it will be painted. This paint has not been exposed to any light or weather, and with a little bit of cleaning can be taken to a paint store where it can be scanned for color. They can mix paint that should be very close to original. I did that with my Oliver tractor, because the paint I wanted, there was no formula for. Been almost 25 years since painted, and still looks fresh.
