ot/ are old style plow frames illegal?

some one told me today that it is now illegal to put a snow plow on a truck with the frame that stays on all the time. does anyone know if this is true?

I guess it depends on your state. In Mass you can have any kind of frame you like, but it must be removed from the vehicle between May 15th through October 15th of each year.

Are they talking about the frame or the plow itself. If it is the frame itself then it is a ridiculous law. If it is the blade only then I can see that.
