Perkins 6.354 Head Studs

Re-use the old studs, they are NOT torque to yield hardware like newer engines use. Or, get them from ARP who makes studs for race engines if you know the length you want. I've never had to replace any studs on any Perkins I've ever worked on, always used the original hardware with no trouble.

I'd use the ARP catalog and get them there, I'm sure they would be less than Agco and better quality too. Not sure if they have any with fine threads both ends like Perkins use though. Might switch to bolts also, that's what some later Perkins engines now use instead of the studs.
