Muir Hill 101,

No mot really. I do try to save them from the dump. Usually I give the salvaged pack away. Something to keep the mind working.
The point is that the no name bargain battery packs from the interweb ARE NOT!

I bought 3 3000 Mah rated packs, and all rated at 1325 Mah, I think one failed already

The common thread on the internet is all parts are the same all made in one factory . They might all be made in one factory but they aint all the same .

Muir hill 101.

Possibly the brand-tool maker, determines the battery capacity. All coming out of one factory. When I raced 'RC cars and truck we used Sanyo cell, and some Panasonic.

Those days, late 80's till 1992, were NiCad's 1700 Mah cells at $10 a cell for a matched racing pack with 6 cells.
3 packs just for racing. and a few more for practicing.

I still have a few racing packs, NiMh 3000 Mah pack from 1991 or 1992,

Guido.
