Plow Day Saturday

In Monmouth,Illinois next to the Farm King store. 10 tractors and plows. Heavy black dirt that was wet but workable. Cornstalks that had been worked a couple of times. About 40 acres , I hadnt plowed around a square field in a long time, no driving on headlands, just raise the plow,turn left and drop and go.They brought cheeseburgers,chips and cookies for lunch and had all of the tractors filled with fuel while we ate. Great day!!

I had the trash rake hooked onto my plow, most had never seen one before.

There used to be a plow day next door to us. We could just drive our steel wheeled Farmall Regular across the property line to get there - so no loading/unloading required. It was fun while it lasted.

I always enjoyed a plow day. Hasn't been one anywhere near me in many years. I've been talking to some people about trying to have one sometime
