Can anyone expalain to me how to polarise a generator on a 1958 fordson dexta positive earth

Can anyone expalain to me how to polarise a generator on a 1958 fordson dexta positive earth

Disconnect the wires from the dynamo, take a wire from the live side of the battery, in your case, the negative post, and flash it to the small terminal on the dynamo. You could see a spark or nothing. Reconnect all your wires and you are good to go.
