Question on upcoming site changes

Roger where did you get this information, did you get an email from Yesterday’s Tractors that contained this information? Have you bought parts from Yesterdays Tractors recently? If you did I wonder if that triggered an email distribution to you? I have heard nothing that says the forums will change or move away from their current format.

What is the source of your info? Did you by chance read the 2-year-old post from jkane that is pinned at the top of this forum's index and not notice the date? If so, those changes occurred two years ago.

Norman is doing more on other social media like Facebook and YouTube, to reach people that don't come to this site. I haven't heard of any changes coming to this discussion forum site.

I have understood for a long time that the site's parts "catalogs" here would be changing to a format like PartsASAP at some point in time.

Normansavestractors Put that in Post Back in May. That Changes would be coming in July. But that was only for the ASAP parts side of this Web Site Not for the Forums. Even you Used Red Mn post in his thread

There's a post on FB about changes in September that I understand as just the website side not the fourm side changing

Same system for me. Only issue was when I went to log in the other day I had to reenter my password. I'd forgotten it so had to reset it and when I did so it logged me in under this older username. Was used2bmike now MomMike2.

There is an email I received on 31 Aug that talked about the new website. And something I saw said access was to be via Facebook, Instagram or utube.
All confusing to this 82 year old.

And have you bought parts from YT recently? If so my guess is that is why you received an email. In my preferences I have it set to “Receive news and update emails” but I didn’t get any info on this.

Hey @NormanSavesTractors, any chance you could share here what Roger received in his email. Some of these guys get a little jittery when they hear of possible changes to the YT forums. From what I have heard whatever is being updated has to do with the sales side of YT! Can you confirm that is correct?

Yes it was site in title! At 82 years old and auto correct it is a wonder anything can always be correct.
