They have the math correct. Most people at shows give the "blank look" when you try to explain power requirements increase with the cubed root of the rpm.
Most observers can't seem to understand how two tractors rated with similar HP. One tractor runs the fan fine and the other tractor with a slightly higher belt speed at the same rated HP. Falls flat on it's face.
