You're overthinking this. What I said is correct. There's lots of thread on the bottom end of the
rod and the yoke needs to be screwed on far enough to avoid hitting the flywheel cover while at the
same time having enough threads exposed to engage the starter switch. In other words it's a happy
median, not just your '' minimumbly threaded or maximumbly threaded''.
