I was sold when I saw it had a screen filter.
I buy all my gas and diesel for tractors at Kroger's in 5 gallon cans and haul it home in my truck.

It even has a vent gizmo to add to the gas can.

Do you have a spout like this?
Good or bad?

Thanks for posting. I'm going to look this up and see if it fits my "Igloo Jerry Jug". Mine is a 5 Gal. and I hate to throw it out. I have four other old style plastic gas cans.
Unfortunately I bought a ebay import junk flex which would have been OK except the stupid yellow cap cracked in half shortly after installation.

You can also check out EZ-POUR, I have been using their replacement spouts for a couple years now, they also
have replacement parts available online. I know they have adapters for Jerry cans, but you will have to
check for your specific MFG,

Currently unavailable.
Plus, maybe they work for some, but I'm not wasting a few dollars on more worthless spouts.
My particular 5 Gal. Jerry Jug is only for storage. It's not a Jerry CAN, and spout neck is different Dia. than all others. Any way I'll take a cane tip and stick it in there and call it good...for now.

in emergency ive cut a rubber john deere drill seed tube off where it fits tight on can use a hose clamp.
those epa spouts made me spill lots of fuel while fueling weed eater and chainsaws.
at a yard sale in town i bought 5 new 5 gallon blitz fuel cans with old style spout for $3.00 apiece. when that owner said 3 bucks i said i want em all

Do these have the damnable epa mandated foreskin?

They're not "gas can spouts."

They are generic "replacement spouts" that just happen to fit gas cans because most of those cans are available in a "WATER JUG" version.

It's called a LOOPHOLE in the law. Keep calling them "gas can spouts" and the EPA will make sure you will no longer be able to get them.

I have a rigid spout that works on all my 5 gallon cans.
I hope this works well.
I don't have a spout with a screen.
I have two funnels with screens.
I don't know how dirt somehow gets inside gas cans.
The screen keeps dirt out.

Good buy.
Menards wants around $17 for gas and a few bucks more for yellow cans. Never have too many cans.

I get table leg caps at the hardware store for caps for a lot of things. I usually slit the
cap on top with my pocketknife to vent it after losing a couple to expansion in hot weather.

I bought several similar spouts without all the added extras but looked like that one and all were basically worthless...from not sealing to cracking at the seals/side seams on the tube where the thing was molded.

It's pretty upsetting to have old working mousetraps, only to have the Fedds muck it up, so now we have to invent a new kind of mousetrap. I still can't believe you can get in your car without having a fingerprint scan + Breathalyzer test....probably coming!

I use a short piece of bicycle inner tube. Looks awful, but it works.
I can lift a five-gallon jug half of gas to the tank of my Farmall M, insert the tube, and let it rest on top of the tank while the gas goes into the tank.

When a picture is worth a thousand words, I'll add. Why can't we get these or make them. They just work, have always worked, and will continue to work. Both are Eagle cans. One on right I modified several decades ago for easy pouring.
