One of the first things I did after getting the 2444, was see what the trencher unit could do. Figured, if it would cut through smaller roots digging a trench, it should be able to decimate some roots for a land clearing. It worked great! A lot of the roots were Russian Olive & would pull out like grapevine. The old crowns came out easily. There were a couple old Boxelder stumps that got ground up & one small Silver Maple that had been dead for some time. The end shot is after I started filling in & cleaning up. Figured I would take a break, as the inspector was present.
