I got my silos and tractors mixed up. A bit of a Reese’s move. Sorry for any confusion.

That's a really rare one with the single front wheel. I have never seen one of those. Keep the posts/pictures coming. I really enjoy seeing them.

The single front wheeled Hart-Parr 40: img.9629.
Note the camshaft upright drive shaft. It's not straight up and down as expected. It's canted or tipped.
The crankshaft is offset from the center-line of the cylinders.
A test: What other mfgr's have cranks offset a bit from the center-line of the cylinders? And why?

Although I did see the mayor today whom could be construed as a DB, but definitely not a Mr..

That front end appears to be held on by only four bolts That's more faith in the metallurgy of the time than I think warranted.

Think of pulling a trailer. We load a 7000# tractor on a trailer with a 2-5/16” ball and then put a cheesy 1/2” pin in the receiver sleeve.
