Shorter plowing video....

There's an odd corner of my field that I like to plow under & have done it a couple times before. It was part of a well-trod hay field before that. Dry conditions at the time didn't make things easy, but the sod turned ok. Just had to get a leg up & keep moving.

Also used a different fuel. Tried UNL88 just for because & the price is ok. The results are.... unimpressive. It idles poorly no matter the adjustment & just didn't seem like it was developing it's full zing. It did ok on the sand patch, but not in this tight stuff. Back to 89 octane it is.

Enjoy!

We sure could not do that in this area, we've had rain every day but 3 the month of May here in S.E. Ohio and it's supposed to continue into the second week of June. Hay is really high and headed out but nobody can get it put up due to the rain. I'm glad I sold most of my haying equipment last fall to a neighbor that thinks he's gonna make a killing with selling hay. I only am gonna put up about 5 acres for the guy down the road and it's an old pasture so if it don't get put up it will be bush hogged. and let lay. Good looking job with the plowing and the Farmall sounds good. Keith

Thanks Keith! We were short about 4" of rain when I plowed. We just made up for that in the last 5 days. That puts off my first cutting by a few weeks, due to the timing of the rain or lack thereof.

Hope your neighbor makes a killing in hay & not die trying.

Good luck in your small haymaking operation!
