Was quite a dairy at one time. db: I always marvel at the silo pictures you come up with. A question for the trust. Why do people refer to a steel bin as a silo when the manufacturers all call them bins? We always called them bins while a silo was for fermented feed either hay or corn or anything else used for feed.

While not an expert I did find interesting information and comparison on line regarding the differences and similarities.
