Next time you strike an arc..............or whatever...............it's interesting to see where the material came from.
 
Since these videos were made, the companies have gone under. Victims to modernization. It's an increasingly hostile world when it applies to workers, and old line industries. Modernization has taken over.

You have to ask yourself...............what have we gained, and what have we lost.
 
Makes my old foundry look small even though at one time it was one of the biggest producing foundries in the country. Small castings, high volume. Having melted steel and iron both, I would rather cook iron any day. And yes Sam we have lost much
