I have this posted also where but thought I'd post in the section to get more traffic.
1950 Harry Ferguson TO20 has been converted to 12 volts by (a couple) of previous owners before.
In the sight hole for the timing marks, does the little notch in the hole serve as a pointer?
I added a picture for reference.
The picture has turned so the notch in referencing is going to be roughly in the 12:00 position.
