how do i decode these numbers
I was told it was a 4141 special utitily 1974 ford help please !!!!!

CA4140 is probably CA414C and is the model number, CA4 is a model 3910 all-purpose or Low Center of Gravity, 1 diesel engine, 4 independent 540 PTO and C 8X2 speed manual transmission (4X1 with hi/low).

4C19B is the production date code, 1984, March 19 day shift.

C718421 would be the serial number.
