Almost got first cutting baled, three acres to go, and it started raining. Round bales, loaded as many as we could on a 33 foot trailer, left 26 in one field and 8 in another small field. Had to wait two weeks, because of rains, to get them out of the fields so as to not track them up. Still haven't been able to bush hog the unbaled rows left in the field. It's raining as I write this.

Here it was dry & drier, now wet & wet. Baled 2 fields, have 7 left to go. Haven’t been able to get those bales out of the field yet. 6 out of 7 are Klein grass. It’s seeded out but not yet dropping the seeds. Soon as it does and it’s dry we’ll roll.

Its been the wettest, and coldest in memory here since about the middle of April Rain every day and cloudy with cold temperatures. We're normally 85-90+ for highs in mid June. Lots of high temps in the 60s and low 70s with rain and no sun. More rain in the month of May than the entire rest of the year combined.

These days nearly all of my hay goes to one customer who has been buying from me for thirty years. They pick it up in the field and they are on two weeks vacation in Maine. We haven't had a good stretch of weather anyway.
