Truck bed day 2

Second day on the bed and made some progress. I didn't get as much as i wanted as I wasn't to excited to start with sore fingers. Lol. Did get some done, got the stake pockets and bumper/hitch done. The bumper is 4x4x1/4 tube. The hitch is a 2 1/2x 2 1/2x 1/4 tube with a 3x3x1/4 tube over the exposed part. Still have to put the braces on the bumper uprights. I Put 4 stake pockets on each side.

Last I put the floor on. It is 1/4 hard aluminum, I'm not sure on the hardness, but it won't bend much before it cracks.

Also got the rear lights cut in. Tomorrow it will get the headache rack, finish the welding, mount the gas filler and wiring. Later I'll add tool boxes in front of the axle.

Mostly using a spool gun for this, but for the thinner stuff I use my tig welder.
