FWIW, a few days ago I posted a pic of an 856 Farmall tractor on a local on line auction. It was a clean, nice original unit.

The bidding ended today, and it sold for $11,600.

In 1990, I sold an identical one without the turbo for $5800, and that was the going price at the time.

Ok, so the price has Doubled, but every thing else has too!!!! How any hours did your have, and the one that sold?

Copied directly from an online inflation calculator:

If in
1990
(enter year)
I purchased an item for $5,800.00

then in
2022
(enter year)
that same item would cost: $12,986.99

Another one says $13,511.95. A third says $12,949.00

So the tractor has actually LOST some value over the years.
