Hi.
Dad bought a used Brent Grain Train 500bu wagon a few years ago. He's been using it just fine right along, and now I'm using it since I took over the farming operation a couple years ago.
Anyway, I have been watching it, and the running gear has two plates in the center with about 8-12 bolts holding them together. What bothers me is that these plates seem to have a lot of 'play' as they wiggle up and down anytime you hit a bump.
I'm particularly bugged about it today because my last pass across the railroad tracks by the elevator made the wagon bounce a lot harder than I'd like, and I'm wondering if it'd do me a lot of good to get under there and tighten those bolts up real tight. Thanks.
