What is a restored tractor?

I like them to be fully working, no leaks(or as little as possible), start easily and work as required. Paint is nice but not needed. I fixed up the tractor in my avatar. Mechanically and electrically that is. It wasn't pretty and I didn't care. A close friend of mine and his father were paint and bodymen for years. He insisted that since my tractor wasn't going to see any real work anymore (I plow snow and grade the driveway with it) and I keep it out of the weather, we should paint it. I said that paint doesn't make it run better. He's a pretty good mechanic so all of his tractors and implements are all in good working order but also look nice. He convinced me and we painted it over a couple weeks. Rust repairs were done to the sheetmetal and the driveline was sandblasted and primed. Painted with a rust paint and hardener. So now, it looks nice and is in good working order. Restored, not at all. It doesn't need a restoration yet, I think of it as a service. My first few cars were the same thing. Get them running well, everything working, usually clean and buff the paint, no painting besides touch up. I wouldn't call them restored either. Funny thing is, nice looking things get better care, no matter what you're talking about. ;)

Every nut and bolt or just enough to make it run....not for judging purposes, just personal opinion.
I think of:
restored as repainted so the outside looks good, maybe running, maybe not running, maybe all stuck rusted and busted inside, but it looks new on the outside.
refurbished as brought back to working or field ready condition, paint condition is not important.
and re-manufactured as every nut and bolt brought back to within service manual specs and repainted to look like new.
